In a moon was founded by Matt Mankins.
Matt started the Lorem Ipsum Bookstore in Cambridge, Massachusetts after graduating from the MIT Media Lab. He then created the Ka-Zam software for independent booksellers which struggled to find a sustainable revenue model.
One day, while having a cup of coffee, the in-a-moon implementation occurred to Matt, and he's been coding it ever since.
